In the song Ice Cream, Lisa sang the line ‘…Play the part like Moses, Keep it fresh like roses…’ This is offensive as Moses was an influential and important figure in Jewish beliefs, and the song is said to be dirty, which is very insulting and is something which is not mentioned a lot, which is something I wish would be mentioned/ brought to light. Another instance would be the song Lalisa, if I’m not mistaken, she wore a traditional Cambodian headdress, which created a bit of a controversy. In ‘Kingdom’, Lisa wore a durag, which was also cultural appropriation. This chakra represents concealed wisdom, and on this point, many Hindu deities have an eye. This is one reason that this is cultural appropriation.
