There are a number of romantic K-Dramas airing at the moment such as “Moonshine”, “Let Me Be Your Knight”, “Our Beloved Summer” and more. This week, our favourite romantic pick is a scene from “Bad And Crazy”! Spoiler Alert! Brimming with mystery, action, and a whole lot of bromance, “Bad And Crazy” keeps getting more and more interesting and entertaining with each episode. On episode 7, Ryu SuYeol (Lee DongWook), his alter-ego K (Wi HaJun), and their mutual love interest HuiGyeom (Han JiEun) go through some pretty high tension situations before finally, handing GyeShik over to the police and getting ahead in their investigation of the larger evil looming over them. Towards the end of the episode, SuYeol offers to walk HuiGyeom home after she has an emotional release. At her doorstep, she demurely asks SuYeol if he would like to come inside so that she can tend to his wounds. Of course, he accepts, albeit reluctantly and they head into a rather messy apartment, much to the dismay of HuiGyeom. Immediately, he lightens the atmosphere by nagging at her for being untidy and helps her clean up.
Soon, HuiGyeom asks SuYeol to settle down so that she can dress his wound. As she opens up the first aid box, she’s flustered to see little post-it notes from SuYeol, telling her to disinfect her wounds and stop getting hurt. Clearly, she hasn’t opened it since the two broke up. There’s a palpable tension between them, which finally breaks as she gets up but SuYeol is quick to grab her arm ever so gently and pull her in for a kiss. After a short yet emotionally charged kiss, they look deep into each other’s eyes for a moment before SuYeol speaks up, asking her to not hit him since it was mutual. HuiGyeom replies with a simple “I know”, before diving back into a kiss, making their reconciliation official. This scene is even more significant because SuYeol doesn’t doubt his feelings even for a split second. K is nowhere to be seen, which naturally implies that SuYeol is sure of himself. HuiGyeom isn’t being influenced by any external factors while she reciprocates SuYeol’s advance either. The moment is born of pure love and longing, which makes it all the more special.
