Just like the Kpopmap Fan Interview for idols, the Kpopmap Fan Interview for actors aims to open the opportunity for fans to promote, talk about, and share their love for their favorite actor/actress with our readers. Sadia Afrin Charu from Bangladesh is the next fan to answer our questions about their favorite actress- Kim SoHyun! Check out how she became her fan, the reasons why she is a fan, the dramas she recommends, and much more insights about Kim SoHyun. Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from? My name is Sadia Afrin Charu, & I am from Bangladesh. Who is your favorite Korean actor/actress? And how and when did you become a fan? My favorite Korean actress Is Kim SoHyun. I first saw Kim SoHyun in the teaser of drama “Let’s Fight Ghost” back in 2016. There, she instantly grabbed my attention. While waiting for the drama “Let’s Fight Ghost” to release, I watched her drama “School 2015” & fell in love with her acting. Then, out of curiosity, I searched her name in Google, as I always do with other celebs. But I got surprised by her age at that time. She was only 16 & so was I then, but how amazingly she acted at that tender age. Then I started looking for more interviews & clips of her to get to know her well. Having the same age as hers really intrigued me that time because at that mere age she accomplished a lot. Not only a mind-blowing actress, but a singer & a well known MC/Host as well & not only that. I eventually found out how humble, kind, graceful & elegant she is, the way she talks, and the way she leads her life at this young age. It was so hard for me to digest that a girl who has the same age as mine can be this mature. Then, I found myself day by day getting fascinated by her & realized she has started inspiring me a lot. Then, I realized & finally concluded that I found my idol in her & in these 7 years, she never let me think twice about my choice, because the more I get to know her the more I fall in love with her! Up to today, she never failed to make me proud everything she does. What are the reasons why you love your favorite actor? Even though I first fell in love with the actor Kim SoHyun, later I fell harder for the person Kim SoHyun. I admire how down to earth she is, even though she is a celebrity. She, in fact, follows many of her fan accounts on Instagram including my account as well on 2nd October 2018!! This has to be the best day & the most memorable day of my life. She is the nicest with her fans. There are many other stories as proofs. I love how she carries herself. Her aura is amazing, how beautifully mature she is at only 23 years age, how kind her behavior is & soft-spoken she is. Oh my God! I actually can make a endless list of why I love her & what I love about her. I basically love everything about her! She is a precious soul. She never fails proving how beautiful she is as human being inside out. Can you recommend dramas or movies starring your favorite actor for new fans? I will recommend every drama or movie of hers, because Kim SoHyun is a versatile actress & she has done different role. Also, you can call me biased as well, I won’t mind because partly, I am. But if I really have to recommend particularly, I would say to watch her latest historical drama “River Where Moon Rises”, where she played a warrior princess. Her performance was phenomenal. Do you have an all-time favorite scene? Can you describe it or share a video? Yes, I do have many all time favorite scenes from many of her dramas but I would like like to specially mention again the sword fighting scenes & her crying scene from the last episode. What was your favorite answer given by your favorite actor in an interview? “I want to be remembered as an actor who you want to see on-screen for a long time, who you can comfortable watching like a friend or a neighbor, depending on the role, I want to be a ‘comfortable’ actor.” -Kim SoHyun What is your favorite actor’s influence on your daily life or yourself? To be down to earth, humble, & kind. Also, I kind of relate to her personality a lot, so she inspires me a lot mostly in every step of my life, like every time I am in some situation in my life, I unknowingly end up thinking what Kim SoHyun would do if she was in that situation. What genre do you want your favorite actor to appear in? What’s the reason? I would love & badly want to see Kim SoHyun in a modern day action-crime-thiller genre, because I know she would nail it with her versatility & she loves taking challenges in acting as well. Which actors would you like your favorite actor to act with? What’s the reason? I would love to see Kim SoHyun pair up with many actors, but mostly with Park SeoJun, Park BoGum, Jung HaeIn, & Ji ChangWook. I believe they will look super good together. I also want her to reunite with Yoo SeungHo, Nam JooHyuk, Yeo JinGoo, & Lee JunHo. I also want her to share a screen space with Son YeJin because Kim SoHyun is known as “Little Son YeJin” for her resemblance with the said actress. (Yes, I know, I am greedy.) Which co-actor do you think had the best chemistry with your favourite actor? I love Kim SoHyun’s chemistry with all of her co-actors actually, but mostly with Song Kang (“Love Alarm”), Na InWoo (“River Where Moon Rises”), Yoo SeungHo (“Ruler: Master Of The Mask”) & Jang DongYoon (“The Tale Of Nokdu”). What’s your favourite 2022 moment involving your favourite actor? Kim SoHyun getting the endorsement for ‘JMsolution’. What is a random fact that you think people don’t know about them? That she loves duck characters. That’s why Kim SoHyun gave her fandom the name “Ori” (Duck in Korean). Also, her nickname is “Sso”. This nickname is given by Red Velvet’s YeRi. Describe her in 5 words. Adorable, inspiring, hardworking, kind-hearted & precious. If you could spend the day with her, what would you want to do together? I would love to sit by the beach & talk our heart out. Actually, mostly, I would listen to Kim SoHyun’s talk about her daily life, apart from being a celebrity. How do you support her the most? I watch all her content & participate in voting and polls, and apart from that, I have a page on Instagram @kimsohyun_sunshine, where I post almost all about her content to promote her works, engagements, and herself as well. What is your favourite way of communicating with your favourite actor? Instagram. Especially when she posts. What about your favourite actor do you relate to the most? That she is kind of private and reserved, and also kind of an introvert as a person. Have you ever made a new friend because of K-Dramas? Yes, I have made online friends. Would you like to see your favorite actor in variety shows? What type of variety show would you like them to do? Yes, yes!!! I would love to see her in travelling & food programs. And also in talk shows. Do you feel there are any misunderstandings, things that are not well known, or any prejudices about your favorite actor? Yes. I would like to address the fact that, there are lot of people on the internet who throw hate on Kim SoHyun just because of the plot of her drama “Love Alarm”, where her character Kim JoJo didn’t choose SunOh at the end. Some people are so delusional that they hate Kim SoHyun & spread negativity because of what her fictional character did. They don’t even try understand that it’s not Kim SoHyun herself, but the character she played in the drama. Those people can’t even differentiate between fiction & the real person. Also, people completely overlooked the journey of JoJo trying hard to overcome her traumas & succeeding in season 2 just because of the love triangle plot. That is the reason why I don’t want SoHyun to do a love triangle-focused drama anymore. Sadia Afrin Charu’s message to Kim SoHyun: I don’t think I could ever be able to finish expressing what I feel about you Kim SoHyun! I always keep saying this to people that you’re the love of my life. I know nobody is perfect! But for me, you’re a piece of perfection! Because why not! Is there anything you don’t have?! You have beauty! You have aura! You have bunch of talents! And most importantly, you have a the most beautiful & pure heart. Sometimes, I fear that you might end up getting hurt whenever I see those mean comments or those comparisons & useless judgements, because I know how sensitive & soft hearted you are! And seeing how much of an introvert you are, you’ll never gonna let the world see what you’re going through & that’s scares me the most!! You’re an angel in this cruel world! You deserve all the happiness & blessings in this world. Always be happy! Stay healthy! Take good care of yourself! And what should I even say about your beauty! I mean look how gracefully you have transformed into a gorgeous lady, how beautifully you’ve grown up, and how expertly you managed to kill me with your beauty aura.
