Chatelais Anaé, who was announced as the 500,000th visitor, was given a special individual tour of the Korea Pavilion, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Korea National Day K-POP concert tickets as award. Asked how he came to visit the Korea Pavilion, Chatelais Anaé’s father said,   “Korea Pavilion looked fantastic when we saw it online. So, we wanted to visit the Expo 2020 Dubai. I’m so happy to receive an unexpected Christmas gift from the Korea Pavilion. When I visited Korea for work in the past, I was so grateful that Koreans welcomed me. I am grateful for the wonderful gifts and warm welcome from the Korea Pavilion” he said. Asked how Chatelais Anae’s mother felt after touring the exhibition of the Korea Pavilion, she said, “The Vertical Cinema, where you can see Korea’s special culture and K-POP, was the most fantastic exhibition. Also, Korea’s future technology through AR experience on each ramp were amazing.” She also said, “It was very good that I could enjoy the panoramic view of the expo site during the exhibition.” The Korea Pavilion, which achieved more than 500,000 visitors amid the pandemic COVID-19, is known as a must-visit pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai and will be held until 31st March 2022 under the theme of ‘Smart Korea, Moving the World to You’. Meanwhile, visitors can tour the Korea Pavilion through the Virtual Korea Pavilion (https://koreapavilion2020virtualtour.kr) and social media events related to the Korea National Day K-POP Concert (16 January 2022) are currently underway.
