“Happiness” tells the story of a deadly virus that takes over an apartment complex and the psychological warfare and class struggle that follow. Park HyungSik plays Jung YiHyun, a sharp police detective determined to protect his loved ones, and Han HyoJoo plays Yoon SaeBom, a fearless tactical agent of the Counter-Terrorism unit of the Special Forces. They pretend to be a married couple to secure an apartment in a prestigious complex, but things go south when they’re locked in with humans who can be scarier than monsters. After premiering on Netflix, “Happiness” immediately shot to global fame, entering the Top 10 chart of the most popular TV shows on the platform. Viewers all over the world showered the series with love, and it showed in its ranking.
