This year, however, they are joining in the wave of Hallyu fever stateside, for all the Filipino communities and other international fans who also want to meet their favorite Korean stars. As a trailblazer of the Hallyu wave, there’s no better artist to feature than Kim HyunJoong himself. The singer-actor first became famous as a member of K-Pop group SS501. However, it was his stint in the Korean drama, “Boys Over Flowers”, that brought him considerable fame and cemented his status as a Hallyu star. He has released no less than ten albums so far and is constantly meeting his fans through concerts, offline and online.
