“Dr. Brain” is based on a webtoon by the same name written by Hong (Hong SeongHyeok). The drama is just one of the numerous adaptions of a webtoon coming out in 2021. (Check out the rest of the list of drama adaptations here.)  The leads in the drama are famous movie “Parasite” actor, Lee SunKyun, actors Lee JaeWon and Park HeeSoon. The female leads in the drama are Lee YooYoung and Seo JiHye.  Lee SunKyun has appeared in the dramas “Diary Of A Prosecutor”, “My Mister”, and “My Wife’s Having An Affair This Week.”  Park HeeSoon has appeared in the dramas “My Name”, “The Missing”, “All About My Romance”, and “Beautiful World”. Lee JaeWon has acted in “Mr. Queen”, “Record Of Youth”, “VIP", and “Kill It.” The two leading actresses will be Lee YooYoung (“SF8”, “The Lies Within”, “My Fellow Citizens”, “Your Honor”) and Seo JiHye (“Dinner Mate”, “Crash Landing on You”, “Heart Surgeons”, “Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me.”) Because the drama is an adaption of the webtoon, some characters in the drama differ from the original webtoon.  This series is Apple TV+’s first Korean drama and is set to launch worldwide on November 4th.
