Welcome to the sixth article of our new weekly series “Boy Crush”! This series will appreciate the men in K-Pop and K-Dramas that we have a crush on based on anything from their style, talent, personality, overall vibe, etc. ATEEZ’s HongJoong opened the series for us followed by PENTAGON’s WooSeok, Eric Nam, BTS’ J-Hope, and ONEUS’ SeoHo. Readers voted for BTOB’s SungJae in our weekly poll (at the end of the article) to be featured this week. Back to this week’s feature! Let’s get to know our crush, SungJae! SungJae is famous as a member of the vocal legend boy group BTOB. He is known for his charismatic charm that pulls you in both on stage and onscreen. SungJae is known as an industry all-rounder. When it comes to idol performances, variety shows, commercials, and K-Drama acting, there is nothing that he can’t do. He is quite the accomplished icon. With his acting, he has shown a wide range and ability to pull off a diverse spectrum of roles and characters. Make sure to catch him in his upcoming drama “The Golden Spoon”. It is a webtoon-based drama which you can read the introduction to here. Check out this video covering some of his most memorable acting moments. His voice? Unmatched. SungJae’s vocals sound like a fireplace lit in a rustic cabin on a rainy day. It is cozy and makes you feel wrapped in warmth with a soothing sound. However, he can switch it up and serve a high note that will bring the hottest heat if he needs to. Check out his live performance of ‘Come With The Wind’. On top of his talent, everybody loves SungJae as the chaotic (and we mean that in the best way possible) maknae of BTOB. He loves pulling his members’ legs whenever he gets the chance, but he is so lovable that we imagine anyone would forgive him for pulling a prank on them.
