So, we’ve put together a list of 20 male and female Korean dancers you need to know if you are just getting into the K-Dance scene. Note: This list is not a ranking and is in no particular order.  

1. Brother Bin

Brother Bin is a dancer that many TikTok/Instagram users may be familiar with. He went viral after releasing his dance cover for Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak’s song ‘Leave The Door Open’, and has been on the rise since. However, many people may not know that he is one of the legends when it comes to the locking dance genre in Korea. He has won numerous competitions for locking since he was very young. 2. Mina Myoung

Mina is a star dancer, choreographer, and model known for her trendy choreography. She used to be one of the dance instructors at the famous One Million Dance Studio in Seoul. She has done some famous choreographies for artists such as TWICE, Jay Park, Jessi, and more. Instagram: @minamyoung

3. LaChica’s Gabee

Gabee is the leader of the famous dance crew LaChica. They are known for having their own unique dance flavor that makes many artists run to them for hot choreography. Gabee and the other crew members have choreographed dances for artists such as TWICE, ChungHa, BoA, aespa, and more. You can watch more of this crew on “Street Woman Fighter”. 4. 5000

5000 (pronounced Oh-Cheon) is an iconic hip-hop dancer who does popping as a sub-genre. He is a veteran in the industry and highly respected by dancers on the scene. He recently appeared in the dance survival show “Be Mbitious”. Instagram: @5000rpsn.kr

5. HolyBang’s Honey J

Honey J is yet another dancer that cannot be left out when mentioning the Korean dance scene. She is renowned for working closely with Jay Park on his choreography and even has experience as a dance professor. She is the leader of the HolyBang crew. 6. PROWDMON’s Monika

Monika is an internationally-acclaimed veteran in the Korean dance scene. She is best known for her ability to pull off any dance genre but especially modern dance. 7. Lia Kim

Lia Kim is a dancer, choreographer, and dance trainer who is highly respected in the Korean dance scene. She is the co-founder and chief choreographer of the famous One Million Dance Studio based in Seoul. Her list of artists that she has choreographed for is quite lengthy and includes figures such as Girls’ Generation, SunMi, MAMAMOO, I.O.I, and more. Instagram: @liakimhappy    

8. PROWDMON’s Lip J

Lip J is a world-renowned dancer who specializes in the waacking genre. She is especially known for how sharp her movements are when it comes to matching a song’s musicality. She is part of the PROWDMON crew. You can watch more of this crew on “Street Woman Fighter”. Instagram: @lipjmolip    

9. HOOK’s Aiki

If you are a TikTok user then you have definitely seen Aiki’s dance videos or choreographies at least once. She is one of the trendiest dancers on the scene and is especially known for making accessible dance content. However, she can pull off almost any genre. 10. WANT’s HyoJin Choi

HyoJin Choi is another name that can’t be left out when talking about dancers and choreographers in the industry. She is another dancer heavily associated with the One Million Dance Studio. On top of her dance skills, she is a well-known dance trainer to idols such as THE BOYZ and ITZY’s YeJi. She is the leader of WANT which is a project group formed for “Street Woman Fighter”. 11. Coca N Butter’s RiHey

RiHey is the leader of Coca N Butter which is one of the defining crews when it comes to girl’s hip-hop dance in Korea. They have been in the game for years and have recently shot to even more fame from their appearance on “Street Woman Fighter”. Instagram: @rihey__

12. JinWoo

JinWoo specializes in choreography and popping and is known for his fast-paced hip-hop moves. He is part of the crew AITTY TOO which just choreographed B.I’s latest release ‘BTBT’. He recently appeared on the dance survival show “Be Mbitious”. Instagram: @82_jinwoo

13. YGX’s LeeJung

YGX’s LeeJung is on the rise and path to legendary status in the Korean dance scene. At an extremely young age, she is not only the leader of the dance crew YGX but has also choreographed some of the most iconic dances for famous artists in K-Pop. 14. YGX’s Yell

15. WAYB’s Noze

If you are new to Noze, you will definitely at least have seen one of her choreographies before. She is the choreographer behind the viral ‘Hey Mama’ dance cover to David Guetta’s hit track. 16-17. Kwon Twins

The Kwon Twins are famous dancers under YG Entertainment. They are also highly revered in the dance community and known for their star personas. 18. KooSung

KooSung is another former choreographer and instructor at One Million Dance Studio. Most recently, he has directed the dance for YOUNITE’s debut track. He recently appeared on the dance survival show “Be Mbitious”. Instagram: @koosungjung    

19. TARZAN

TARZAN is another choreographer and instructor at One Million Dance Studio. He has performed with a number of notable artists including Uhm JungHwa and (G)I-DLE. 20. Woo Tae

He is a legendary dancer and choreographer who can pull off a range of genres. Woo Tae has choreographed for artists such as EXO’s Kai, SHINee’s TaeMin, BoA, Jay Park, and more.
